Took me forever to get this uploaded because YouTube rejected it, and I couldn't get it to upload right on Bam, so, finally, I settled on viddler, but seriously, the quality is shitty, so sorry about that. It's because of the type of file that I had to save it as. Nothing else would work.

98.4.

Finally. My temp has stopped yo-yo-ing. And today, I finally feel fine. Except for the cough. That will likely linger for weeks. But the inhaler is helping immensely, and my energy levels are finally back where they ought to be.

Pinky: So, Brain, what're we going to do tonight?

Brain: Same thing we do every night...

Support Stacie Fic: On Sanctuary Base Six , for [info]papilio_luna
Title: On Sanctuary Base Six
Author: [info]ladychi
Beta Babe: [info]unfolded73
Rating: Teen
Summary: Missing scenes from The Impossible Planet and The Satan Pit.
Author's Notes: Written for [info]papilio_luna for the Support Stacie auction. She requested Season Two-style will-they-won't-they UST. Thank you to [info]unfolded73 for doing the most fantastic beta job ever, and saving me from a mid-evening freak-out.

Rose bit her lip. If they were going to be stranded, millions of years into her future, she would have to learn to accept a different human culture -- even one that enslaved alien races. At least for the time being.

Well, all right, I suppose I can.

Last night was Second Thanksgiving, for people who could not make it on Thursday. There were two types of lasagna (roasted veggie and pumpkin + turkey sausage) and butternut squash pasta, as well as various leftovers from Turkey Day itself, and caramelized pears and fruit pizza for dessert. I have continued to be banned from the kitchen, since my voice is better but the cough continues to linger, but [info - personal] twitchylizard is more than making up for it. For some reason, she is the only person my mother listens to when she says, "Donna, that is too much food." If anyone else says this, they get their heads snapped off, but Liz gets away with it.

Work yesterday was fuuuuuun, btw, especially since I accidentally took Nyquil instead of the intended Dayquil before going. Whoops. Fortunately I didn't really need my brain. We had maybe five kids all day.

Today we get our Christmas tree. Liz, being Jewish, has never experienced this particular cultural event and had not quite realized that it involves going to get a tree and bringing it back to the house. She said, "That sounds like a hassle," and I said, "It is." Which is why my parents are going to do that part of it (along with the arguing over which tree to get and whether they really need all the boxes of ornaments in storage) while we run some errands. I need to spend some time trying to get the final book review kick-started. I'm really close to being done with everything I said I needed to finish before I could start writing again. I probably could start writing again, actually, but it's good incentive to just keep pushing through.

After three weeks of the worst writer's block I have ever had, I got rather walloped by inspiration last night and sat down and wrote a twenty-chapter outline for A Sky Without Stars. Now I have always known where the relationships were going to go in this story, all the emotional stuff that was going to be covered and the life events {i.e. Donna's wedding to James, the birth of their baby, Rose moving in with Jonathon, Renee's plotline and Jack's plotline, as well as Caelum and the baby TARDIS (who will get her name)}, and all that, but I only had the vaguest ideas of the adventure to wrap it around. Sort of...well, it has to happen in the ocean and the submarine will be involved and Yumi and the aliens at Illuminate, and the Institute and more with the Time Vortex. But nothing fully gelled. Now I've got it in full detail, something to write towards instead of just dinking around trying to wing it as I go.

I'm going to have to do some research on magnetometers and geothermal imaging and sidescan sonar for some of it, and possibly some marine biology and geology as well, but at least I know where it's all going to go. And it'll likely be more than 20 chapters. That's just the adventurey stuff. There will probably be a good ten chapters of relationshippy stuff and smut. It is Jonathon and Rose, after all. Least if I don't deviate too much from the outline. If I do, there could be more, but I don't really want to write another gigantic fic like Zeppelins or WM. More in the 50,000 to 80,000 word range.

And I'm not abandoning Hunger Moon. I think I've worked out the final kinks of what was blocking that story so I still hope to get that finished by the end of the year. So here's hoping my muses are back to stay and I can actually get some time in writing on what's left of the weekend.

Title: Watching (3/3)
Author: [info]the_tenzo
Characters/Pairings: Ten/Rose/Ten2 (all together)
Rating: Adultish for soft-focus secks, Tencest, and the f-bomb
Intrepid Beta: [info]fid_gin
Summary: The Doctors and Rose land in Swinging London (yeah, baby!). UST-without-much-plot, occasional RST-without-much-plot, and some character study. Voyeurism, public sex, Tencest, but all of fairly mild sorts.

A/N: Hooray! This here is the fic I have written for my benefactress[info]xebgoc </span> , who won me in the Support Stacie Author Auction waaaay back in September. She requested a historical setting, with voyeurism and Tencest. I have endeavoured to oblige. A fic in three parts, posted Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.

Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3

( +The Doctor could see them nudging each other and whispering like children as they all walked back to the TARDIS. )

Title: Mysterious Ways, part 15 of ?
Author: Aenaria/[info]io_aenaria
Character/Pairing: Ten/Rose, Gemma (an OC), with appearances by Jack, Martha, Donna, and a bunch of other OCs
Rating: This is the part where the rating goes up to R - not very graphic, but still not something that should probably be read at work or in front of impressionable kids.
Summary: "She's been lost, found the key, unlocked the door to the universe, wandered about, took a detour, stopped, stopped some more, then started again. Now, finally, Rose Tyler is on her way home." The Sonnetsverse reunion. Still totally AU from 'The Unicorn and the Wasp'.
Disclaimer: Alas, no. All I've got is a kitten named Fortuna, but she's not for sale.

a/n: *coughs delicately* Okay, let's not get into how long it's been since I posted the last part. In any case, many months of life being an utter bitch, a good hard beta from [info]earlgreytea68 and two glasses of wine later part fifteen is now finished. Please don't keel over from shock - it's my turn to pass out now. :)

Love, lift me up out of these blues...

Title: To Dust
Author: [info]biggrstaffbunch
Pairing: Doctor/Rose
Rating: R
Summary: Not all things must come to an end. Not every thing must come to dust. Rose Tyler persists, and the world falls down. [AU Post-Doomsday]
A/N: Part 3 of the Into the Howling Trilogy. Reading Part One: She Falls Through Holes and Part Two:Ghost Stories is highly recommended in order to understand this fic.

Rose will not say the word God, or Lord, but she will think it. Bad Wolf victorious, baying in tune with the singing, yearning, slow-cello melody of the TARDIS heart.

Somewhere in the depths of the ship, a bell rings.

Outside, one by one, the stars begin to go out.

What'd I say about the dangers of underestimating a low grade fever earlier this week? Today may be the first day I don't have a fever, but I'm not taking chances, and won't really know until tonight, as this fever starts late in the day, usually breaking around midnight. Today is the first day I've actually started to really feel better.

Today I was in to Urgent Care yet again, but this time they listened to me (wheeze, that is), and I finally have the inhaler. He also offered a script for the cough syrup with codeine, but even thinking about taking that stuff makes my stomach turn, and it doesn't work anyway, so I thanked him and turned him down. Seriously, that stuff's only effect on me is to make me sick.

It's the standard, modern albuterol inhaler, and I'm to use it every four hours...ok, maybe not quite that many times, but no more often than every four hours until this thing finally clears up. I'm already breathing better, and am looking forward to being able to breath while sleeping. What a novel concept, right? Being able to breath while asleep? 'Course, I like being able to breath when I'm awake, too. Now if I can just get to the point where I can talk for more than one sentence without dissolving into a coughing fit.
